Entre 2004 et 2016, le saxophoniste alto David Binney a réalisé neuf albums pour Criss Cross en tant que leader ou co-leader, présentant principalement sa musique originale. Le dixième album avec Criss Cross, A Glimpse Of The Eternal, est, comme dit Binney, "complètement différent de tout ce que j'ai déjà fait ; relax, une ambiance agréable, rien de trop compliqué ou d'intense". L'album a été enregistré le 29 juin 2021 au Samurai Hotel Recording Studio et il est mixé et masterisé par Mike Marciano aux Systems Two Recording Studios.
